It’s a big, big change to know you need a new home when you are 13 and the life you knew is gone. The worst part is knowing that adopters are usually looking for younger dogs so you are left with a feeling of such loneliness. My owner went to be an angel and the other dogs I lived with are looking for new homes too. I’ve heard that AGA has adopters called the “Golden Hearts Club” and I am asking them, in particular, to help me. They are the special adopters who really love senior goldens. My doctor says I am a healthy girl except for a touch of arthritis for which I have medicine. I am going to be staying with a nice foster person and when they get to know me better I can tell you more about myself. You don’t have to already belong to the “club” to adopt a senior but as soon as you do, you become a member! Members in the club have a special place in every golden’s heart! Please come and meet me.
Love always, CoCo
