I am a 5 year old golden boy, and my 5 years have been very sad ones. The people who had me were mean to me. I don’t know why some people are like that, but they should never have dogs! Thankfully, AGA found me, and since then, my life has been changed all for the better. A good AGA friend, Carol Adams, helped me get treatment for a nasty thing called heartworms, and then my foster family helped me to try to gain some weight. I’ve been on the road to recovery, but everything has paid off because now the best thing on the planet has happened to me! I have found my forever family who promise to never be mean to me like my old family was. I have a stay-at-home human mom, a great dad, and three grown human siblings in college. They are SO SMART and love their Yellow Jackets (whatever that means!) I even have a Golden Retriever sister named Maggie. Maggie and I are already fast pals. She’s teaching me all about Yellow Jacket football! I could not be happier in this family, and I know that I am in good paws here. Each day is a new adventure, and I’m already starting to forget those bad days. Thank you all, and GOOOO TECH! Love, Cody (now Colby Jack!)
