Meet Coltrane, a 3-4 year old male golden who was picked up as a stray. Coltrane had heartworms and thankfully a secret admirer stepped up to sponsor him and pay for his treatment ($500). Once he recovered from his heartworm treatment he found his forever home. However, we soon discovered it wasn’t the best home for this guy. Gates were left open and on three occassions, Coltrane was wandering the neighborhood, dodging cars and even UPS trucks. We just had to find this guy a great new home worthy of Coltrane! After just a short while – we had success! When he met his new family, within one minute they were all on the floor begging to take him home. Now he had a great new home as an only dog in South Carolina. He has two human siblings ages 9 and 16 to keep him busy and a big backyard that is all his! Rough road no more – Coltrane finally has a family worthy of his big toothy smile!
