Conner is a 5 year old male golden who was found by a very nice young girl who simply loves animals. She has a dog and several cats but could not leave this sweet boy roaming around on his own. He was so matted that she shaved him and took him to the vet to scan him for a micro-chip but there was nothing. Mom said no more animals so she turned to us for help. Initially he had heartworms but those nastly things are a thing of the past – just like his lonely, wandering days and nights. Connor has been adopted! We won the hearts of the foster family that took him in and cared for him during his treatment. They just couldn’t let this fuzzy guy go! Connor was emaciated when he came in but mom had 20 pounds on him in no time. She said today, his ‘gotcha day’ was the first time he ran around the house a million miles an hour in sheer joy. Connor must have known it was his day. Now he shares his home with another AGA alumni, his older golden sister Goldie. These two will make mom and dad the envy of the neighborhood!
