Awe, Cooper! This sweet 5-year-old beautiful Golden boy is almost all white — like an English Cream with a paint brush of Georgia clay on his ears and face. He came to us from an Alabama family who fell on hard economic times and couldn’t keep him any longer. He has had some pretty rough times himself — heartworms, underweight, a broken tooth, a broken tail(!) and a broken toe, which needed to heal quickly so he could get back to romping around the house and yard with playful abandon. That is Cooper in a nutshell — a sweetheart with a zest for life whose happy nature wasn’t about to let life’s pitfalls get him down. Well, thanks to wonderful medical care courtesy of AGA, he is now SO healthy and handsome that you would never guess all he has had to endure and his new people are absolutely in love with him. He is now with Canine Assistants and they will be working with him in the weeks to come. Jennifer Arnold has not been able to see any aggression out of him and thinks he is simply a wonderful dog. She also believes Cooper is extremely smart (it’s the smart ones who get in trouble) and he has shown an immediate knack for tracking. After some work and training Cooper will be home to stay.
