UPDATE: Hi, it’s me, little Cooper, to let everyone know how I am doing. My foster mom has been taking good care of me and has some “tips” for people who might want to take me home. AGA is wanting me to have a permanent foster which is someone who can take care of a dog with special needs like me, only AGA will pay for all my doctor bills or anything I need. See, I was born with a problem where part of my brain didn’t grow like it should and that makes me have trouble walking. The rest of my brain is fine so I am still all golden and love to play and learn new things and especially get in a lap and take a snooze. My new home should have no steps except maybe when I’m bigger I could learn how to do a couple of steps. Right now I can walk a little ways but then I tip over and have to get back up and try again. Inside it’s best I have carpeting and no slippery floors and outside no hills to climb. Other dogs like me have learned to do lots of things as they have grown and become stronger so I am hoping that will happen to me too! Would you like to be my new family? I really need you and I promise to love you lots!
Hi people! I’m a puppy. I’m only about 4 months old and I’m fun to play with and I’m smart and everyone says I’m really cute and a sweet little fellow. I’ve always been a happy boy – that is until the day my owner took me to the dog doctor and said to give me that “bad” shot. It’s the one that makes you a puppy angel. I was so scared!!!! How could that be true? No, no, I said!!! Lucky for me the doctor understood what I was saying and called a rescue helper who came and got me. Why was I going to get that shot? Well, I have a problem that makes me not walk so good and if I get excited I start shaking. I guess something happened to me when I got born. The nice rescue lady helped me be an AGA dog and she is being my foster. Pretty soon I am going to see a special doctor to see if they can help me. AGA has helped other puppies with problems and I hope I can be one of them. I have my paws crossed for a home that will love me and help me. Kisses from Cooper
