This is Cotton. She is a purebred female Great Pyrenees who recently became a mother. She came from a family in Alabama where Cotton’s old old boyfriend lived. Four pups later, Cotton’s family took the pups to the shelter but they wouldn’t take the pups without the mother. In the end, they wanted to get rid of the pups more than they wanted to keep Cotton. Two pups got adopted but no one was willing to take the mom so we stepped in and took the other two pups and mom. Cotton and her two boys – Q-Tip and Puff were brought to Atlanta and all lived with a wonderful foster family until we could find them homes. And surprisingly Cotton was the first to find a new home. Her new mom and dad are empty nesters and with their children no longer at home they feel their pets make the house feel more like home. They have grown kids and grandkids that visit often so Cotton will have plenty of time to do what Great Pyrenesses do best – play and snuggle with kids! Also, Cotton’s old boyfriend has been replaced – she has a new man in her life! Junior is certainly the love of Cotton’s life. He’s a 6 year old American Bulldog who thinks Cotton is the prettiest girl in town. We know these two will certainly make beautiful music together! Well, it looks as if Cotton’s Bama days are over – she’s right at home in Georgia and we think “home” is where she’s going to stay!
