Daisy is a 4.5 year old female golden. She was turned in to us because she gets scared by thunderstorms. She is overweight, and needs lots of exercise to get back her pretty, trim figure. At this month’s adoption day, despite thunder phobia and a few extra pounds, Daisy managed to steal the hearts of a wonderful couple who had recently lost their previous golden to old age. Mom and dad were not certain they were ready for another dog just yet but when they met Daisy they had to make her their own. Daisy’s new family couldn’t be more perfect for her. Mom is a teacher so she and Daisy will get to spend a lot of quality time together before the school year starts. Mom already had Daisy going on long walks and running around in their big fenced in yard. Plus, dad works from home so Daisy will always have someone around to rub her belly or play a good game of fetch. Mom and dad’s other children are all grown so Daisy is their baby. She already has a special place in the bedroom where she won’t have to worry about those pesky thunder storms. Finally Daisy has a home and a family that promise to love and care for her, no matter what, forever and ever!
