Dillon, a 3 year old male golden retriever, had literally been neglected all of his life. He had lived by himself in the backyard of an elderly woman’s home up in north Georgia. A visitor to that home saw him and convinced the woman to give him up. Dillon came to us with heartworm and tick disease. We took good care of him and treated both his infections then we found him a home where he will never be neglacted again. Dillon’s new forever home is a golden’s paradise. Mom is a wonderful dog lover who lost her most recent golden in September. She missed that canine company and was eager to bring another golden into her home. Dillon’s new house is on Lake Lanier. He now has lots of nearby hiking trails and acres of land where he can run around and play. Dillon is sure to get tons of exercise at his new forever home but better yet, Dillon will now be showered with love, attention, and affection for all his years to come!
