Meet Drake. He is a 2 year old male purebred who was on death row in a shelter. He sure was happy to get out of there. His foster Mom and Dad quickly declared he was an “awesome” dog. And they were right and we were determined to find a perfect forever home for him. A family was looking for a young, red golden and we immediately thought of Drake. Dad had lost his red boy eight years earlier and was now ready for a new addition to his family. Plus, his son was old enough for a dog of his own. Well, Mom and Dad flew into Atlanta from Brunswick to meet Drake. It was love at first sight. He was just what they were looking for. Two days later, Dad flew back in his private plane to get Drake. You should have seen Drake in the back seat of this plane looking out the window before takeoff just smiling his head off. Back in Brunswick, Drake met his three kids he now gets to raise and his sister canine Annie and is enjoying the good life. Yep, Drake has a pool and lives on the beach! What a rags to riches story and it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving golden!
