From a nervous shelter pup to a beloved family member—what a journey I’ve had! Hi, I’m Ducky, a three-year-old pup who was rescued from a shelter in Catoosa County. When I first arrived, I was pretty overwhelmed (who wouldn’t be?!), but I quickly showed the kind folks at Pet Lodge that underneath my nerves, I’m a total love bug.
Then, everything changed. The Mabe family saw my picture and knew they had to meet me. They could tell I was a little unsure at first, so they patiently gave me time and space to feel comfortable. They’re super dog-savvy and knew just what I needed—exercise, training, love, and, most importantly, snuggles! Now, I have a home where I can truly relax, learn, and be the happy, confident dog I was meant to be. I’m one lucky dog—welcome home to me! Lots of loves, Ducky
