From his Permanent Foster Mom: “My sweet Dudley left me yesterday. Taking him in as a foster in late January, he was a stray for a year until AGA got him. I picked him up from M&G and he was little more than a skeleton with scars and scabs all over his poor body. Love and care was showered over him. Between me and his alternate Foster mom Peggy, he thrived. He loved the feeling of safety of my little backyard and basked in the suns warmth on the big lawn at Peggy’s when I was out of town. His coat filled out and became silky soft. You could no longer feel his ribs or spine and he smiled the happiest dog smile you’ve ever seen. This boy had a spirit that overcame the streets and scars of his past. He had a funny whistle and bark that said, ‘Hey, pay attention!’ Dudley was an incredible love. I held him until his last breath and he passed peacefully knowing he was finally truly home.”
