Duke C. is a young blonde male golden retriever. He was born 10/3/09 and has his AKC papers to prove it. He was turned into a county shelter because his owner didn’t have time for him. He came to us as a great dog – very friendly, good with other dogs, rides well in the car and loves attention! Now Duke is loving life with his new family. Mom and her husband had owned two goldens but were now goldenless. It seemed like the best time to get one since their two little girls were old enough to really appreciate the love of a golden. So now, mom, dad, their two daughters, and their two cats welcomed Duke C into their home and hearts. The girls were so enamored by Princes and Princesses lately, they felt Duke needed a new name and he is now Prince. He is still royal and he got a higher, more prestigous moniker. The girls adore him and so do mom and dad. He will have a wonderful life raising his two girls and playing with them in their big fenced backyard and taking long walks in the neighborhood. Prince will now live a charmed life for sure.
