Dutchess, a beautiful 3 year old female golden, was picked up as a stray and was on death row at the pound. We named her Dutchess because our friends at CT&T (Corporate Travel & Transportation) went to the shelter and picked her up in a LIMO! You should have seen the people at the shelter do a big double-take. And, all those other dogs were so jealous. Well, Dutchess was put in the luxurious leather back seat and wouldn’t have anything to do with it. She had to sit upfront with the driver, our friend Raymond. Thus, the name Dutchess. Lucky little Dutchess was adopted into a forever home where, as the family’s only dog, she can carry on her royal ways. Dutchess now has a stay at home dad, 2 young children to help raise, and a big back yard to rule over. From death row to a wonderful forever home, Dutchess’s story is indeed a fairytale complete with its very own happily ever after!
