Ellie, a 2 year old purebred Golden, lived with a young couple who recently had a baby and felt they could no longer give Ellie the attention she deserved. They were right; Ellie deserves lots of love and attention because she is such a special dog. She is smart, good natured, a good play buddy and just an overall sweetheart. But, Ellie has epilepsy which is controlled by medication and we had to find some special people who would accept that unconditionally. Well, we found that family. In fact, it was her foster family who fell head over heels for this girl.(Gee, did we have that planned?) Ellie’s new mom and dad and new dog sister, Lucy, are a young active family who will take Ellie to the park everyday and to the beach to visit grandma, grandpa and dog cousin, Hannah. Yep, we are talking about our little Hannah who was adopted this summer so it’s turned into a real family affair. Ellie couldn’t have dreamed for a better family and we are positively positive she has found her forever home… it’s like she pawpicked them herself!
