Ellie is a 5 year old purebred female golden retriever. She was advertised in the newspaper as an “AKC registered golden free to good home”. One of our volunteers knew that trying to find a home for a golden by an ad in the newspaper was a potentially dangerous situation, so she called her owner. As a result Ellie came to us. It was very hard for him but we promised to find Ellie a very good home. Well, finding this great girl was no problem at all. She charmed her way right into the hearts of a family that had been waiting for just the right dog – Ellie was their girl. When they met Ellie they knew their search was over. Now Ellie is living in the lap of luxury. She has already become very attached to her new mom and is hoping to become a lap dog too. She will get plenty of love from mom and dad and she also has two human brothers to romp around with too. Oh, and Ellie has a new man in her life as well. She can be seen walking side by side with her beautiful new golden boyfriend Cody. He’s the other dog in the house. These two together will be quite the pair. Cody is one lucky guy to have such a lovely lady at his side.
