Elliott, a 7 year old male golden retriever, is one lucky boy. Elliot was rescued from a kill shelter way up in North Georgia. He was living in a wooden box that was on stilts. He was scheduled to be put down the morning we got him. He was about 15 pounds underweight and he coat and skin were in poor, poor condition. After his bath, Elliott started to smile; perhaps he knew a great new life awaited him. Elliott now lives on a wonderful ranch in the country with his new mom and older Maltese brother. Elliot is learning how to care for his brother who is deaf and loving life on the farm. Riding around the property in the golf cart is Elliott’s favorite but he also loves to swim in the lake. The second he saw the water he jumped right in and swam all around. Elliot is still a little scared of the horses but he has his own tree house with a little ramp to hide out in if he needs. From being only hours away from death, Elliot is enjoying every minute of his new life.
