Emmy is a 7 year old purebred female golden retriever. She was adopted by a woman who heard about Emmy at her vet. Emmy’s original owners allowed her to get up to 130 pounds and took her in to be put down because she was so fat – uh, that’s what happens when they eat too much and exercise too little. The vet refused and kept her knowing he could find someone who would adopt her. The woman that did had her for 3 months but due to working 2 jobs and going through a divorce felt it would be better for Emmy to receive more attention so she called us. Now she is finally in a home where she can let her hair down. Mom and dad are great and both work in the arts. Emmy will be a well-cultured femme fatale in no time just like her new golden brother Blue. Sadly, her new family lost their sweet Bailey just a few months ago – Emmy thanks Bailey for sending her their way. She’ll also have 3 feline companions Lucy, Betty, Talouse. They are all dog lovers who snuggle with Blue. Soon they’ll snuggle with Emmy too. And best of all she has her very own grandma and her very own human kids! Emmy’s new adventure is ready to begin.
