Fergus, a 4 year old male golden retriever, was on death row at the animal shelter where we picked up Tristan. At this shelter dogs are only held for 3 days before they are put down. Seeing that sad face and knowing Fergus’s days were numbered, we went back the very next day with hopes of saving this poor golden’s life. And we did! Now Fergus has a forever home, complete with a mom, dad, 11 year old boy, Beau, and a pet frog too. Fergus’s family met a lot of different dogs. When they heard Fergus’s story they offered to foster him while mom was out of town. After some male bonding they all knew Fergus was the golden for them. So now, not only does Fergus have a loving family of his own, he has a future that is sure to be filled with games of fetch, belly rubs, and lots of love!
