Yes, I am that famous fellow from a shelter in South Carolina who didn’t have much of a future ahead of him until AGA made some magic happen. I have new medicine to make my pain in my front leg go away (it was broken when I was young and no one took me to a doctor) and I can hear things with my ears and I can see things with my eyes. Everyone thought I was deaf and blind at first. I was scared and confused but after an AGA lady came and got me in her car and brought me to my doctor things started to change. I wasn’t very hopeful about finding a new home even though I am not that old- maybe 8ish? Still it’s hard for seniors like me with the problems everyone thought I had to find a home except for the very special homes with very special people. I think I got an EXTRA special home because I found out that 12 other seniors have lived here before me. Boy, my new mom and dad really like the seniors the best! I wish there were a whole lot more people like them because so many times older dogs lose their first home and need a place where they can be in a family again and they need it quickly. Younger dogs kind of “bounce” back but us older guys and girls need to feel safe and not have to worry about being scared. It’s hard on us to lose our homes. My new family promised me I’d be with them always until I left to be an angel dog. Then I will be looking after all the other orphan dogs who are waiting for homes. That sounds like a good plan but I think I’ll stay right here with my family for a long time. Love, from Ferguson (now Casey)
