Finny – Needs HW+ Sponsors

My name is Finny, and I’m a 6.5-year-old golden boy looking for the fresh start I’ve been waiting for.

I came to AGA with my best friends, Dalton and Shimmer. After our owner passed away, we spent our days living in a an outside barn with very little attention or affection. We always stayed together, hoping life would get better… and thanks to AGA, it finally has.

I’m a sweet, easygoing boy who enjoys playing, but I’m just as happy settling down to relax with my people. I weigh about 91 pounds, so I have a few pounds to lose, and because of my size, I have some mobility challenges. A home with no or limited stairs would help keep me comfortable as I work toward a healthier weight.

I’ve been told I can be a little protective of my food by my previous owners, though we’re still learning more about that. I also have a funny habit of grabbing things from people’s hands — not aggressively, I just get a little excited! Because of that, I’d do best in a home without small children.

I’m also working on my leash manners. I don’t pull much, but I do like to circle around my person from time to time. One thing we do know for sure is that I need a home without cats.

What I’m looking for now is a family who will take me through my HW+ treatment. I need my family to live a max of 45-minutes from the vet located in the Buckhead area.
