Flannery – a 2 year old female golden retriever mix was turned into a South Carolina shelter by her owner who said she couldn’t take care of her. By the condition Flannery was in, we agreed. She was very thin and very scared… particularly of loud noises. She is very fearful and after having been in a wonderul foster home for several weeks, we discovered this red haired girl was ill and could not be saved. It is comforting that Flannery had experienced what kindness was in her last days.
