Fletcher,is about 1.5 years old and is simply a wonderful male golden. He is what we call a “chilled out” dog — nothing seems to bother him. He loves other dogs and all people. We found Fletcher in a shelter and couldn’t believe such a wonderful dog was only days from death. Well, not on our watch. Our wonderful volunteer loaded him up in her car and off they went. It didn’t take long to know he was one special dog. And, as luck has it, we had a wonderful family in North Carolina looking for a young dog. they had just lost one of their goldens and wanted another for themselves and their golden, Hudson. They drove to Atlanta to look at our dogs. They thought they wanted a female until they met Mr. Fletcher. He just stole their hearts. He was a little confused when they went back home and left him but we told him they were coming back the following week. He waited and waited and was such a patient boy. Then the day came and boy was he happy to see his new Mom and Dad. They are retired so he will never be alone again. And, his new brother is showing him all around. He has lots of land to explore, and has a pool and lives on a lake too. Hey, Fletcher, can you understand “SWIM BOY, SWIM”. You may want to wait until the snow melts though. Those North Carolina winters are a bit chilly.
