Now I am a North Carolina dog. My new mom got on an airplane and came to Atlanta and then got a car and drove us back home. I have other dog brothers here, all from AGA. She likes the older ones best and we sure are glad she does. We keep her busy but she has had lots of experience with goldens so she doesn’t look too tired-yet! I used to live in Turkey in a shelter most all of the time I can remember. I know I was kind of showing my age when I got here because I was -well- a wreck! I’m about 8 and that’s a long time to live in the cold and on a hard floor and have no one to put their arm around you. But in a way, I guess I was lucky because lots of goldens don’t get that old there. It’s a hard life. My foster mom says I am a tough fellow and like the battery bunny on TV, I just keep on going! (I have no idea what that means!) When I first got here Lulu Berg was my sponsor. Wasn’t that kind? I think there is kindness no matter where you look here. It’s been a long wait but now my new life is just beginning. Lots of love to everyone, Freddy
