UPDATE: AGA has decided that it’s best for me to stay with them a look for a home where I can spend the rest of my days. I have something called arthritis and it makes it hard for me to do stuff younger dogs can do. But, AGA will pay for the medication to relieve some of my pain if you can give me a warm place to sleep. I will need a one level home, with no steps or stairs, and a fenced in yard. I know how to potty outside and I can even use a dog door! I get lonely if I’m home alone, so I’d like to have someone who I can spend time with, and if you have to go to work another dog would be good too! It’s very difficult for me to get in the car, so, I hope you will help lift me into the car for any doctor’s appointments I may have. I don’t see very well, so I would prefer a home with older children who understand the proper way to reward me with treats! I love to have my ears rubbed, sleep on my favorite blanket and play with my tennis ball! I’m tired of traveling to different homes, so maybe your house will be my last stop. Love, Gavin.

Original Bio: I’m about 12 years old and I spent some time in a dog shelter because I got lost and couldn’t find my way back home. My new doctor says I’m doing pretty good and lucky not to have heartworms. A lot of stray dogs get them. I guess my biggest problem is that I’m too skinny which isn’t hard to understand because it’s definitely a challenge for a dog with no home to find food. Now I’m getting good meals and have a bed to sleep on and medicine to get rid of any itchy bugs. I am a sweet guy with a great smile! Gavin
