Ginger came to us as a purebred female golden, who had lived her entire life birthing puppies. She needed a family that would could spoil her and give her all the attention in the world. She was adopted but her new family knew that she needed more. She came back to AGA in very positive spirits…it seemed like she knew more about what was going to happen to her than we did! There was a PERFECT family out there for her…and she asked us to help find it. Her tail now wagged, she had a sweet and graceful smile, and she had a little more pep in her step than during her first journey through AGA. After a brief stay with her new foster family and several romps at the local dog park and snuggles at home Ginger found her new family. Mom and dad are previous AGA adopters and shared a major love connection with our (now their) sweet Ginger! Ginger now has a Mom who works from home all day (and gets to care for the animals!) and a Dad, as well as 2 canine companions, Libby and Lady. Libby is a 4 year old lab who has a “job” as a temperament dog to new boarders at a nearby doggy day care and Lady is a 13 yr old fellow AGA graduate. In addition to her new canine companionship she’s also adjusting to life with the other kind – yes, felines.
