Thanks to AGA I did not have to stay in the animal shelter very long. That was a bad time for me. I was called Goldie and I was 7 years old. I didn’t have much of a life anyway and I keep hearing that to be with AGA meant I would have things much better from now on. I had always lived out in my yard. I might not have been 100 % Golden but I was pretty close. People did say that I was 100% sweet and very friendly. My coat had some bad mats which they took out at the doctor’s office and my nails had never been trimmed so they were too long. It hurt my feet to try and walk when my nails were in the way so now I am feeling much better. I was hoping a real family was looking for a smaller boy like me at 40 lbs. I didn’t know a lot about being an inside dog because no one ever showed me or gave me the chance to try it out. I went into foster care and I learned the rules very fast. Anyway, my foster that was taking great care of me took me to adoption day where I found my forever family. They loved me and another dog name Liberty and ended up adopting us both! We have a great new home with rescue dogs just like me to pal around with, a second home in the Georgia mountains, and mom and stay at home dad to hang out with us all day. We also have older human brothers and sisters that visit. I’m so happy to be with my new family and pack! Thanks, Goldie Boy.
