I’m a 2 and a half year old black golden girl. Not quite a flat coat retriever but pretty close. I have lived with a family until just lately when they said I had to find a new home. You see, there is a new baby in my old home and it climbed on top of me when I wasn’t looking. It scared me and it hurt me and I growled. People should never let that happen- the baby doesn’t know any better and the dog only knows to try and tell the baby “NO” in dog talk. Sometimes it’s just not a good combination in the same home and I really needed a place where that can’t happen again- no little kids, please. I love to play with bigger kids though and I am told I am very sweet. My family took good care f me and even though I have to take some medicine every day and a shot one time a week for my skin allergies I have a beautiful, shiny coat that everyone loves to pet. Now everyone says I have “hit the jackpot”- not sure what that means but it’s something good. Kind of like getting a special prize I think. I never thought I’d find a family with so many people who know how to give shots!!. That’s very lucky for me. I am feeling much less lonesome and getting acquainted with my new dog friend who lives here too. It’s good to be home again. I even have a new girly name and you say it “Lexie”. It goes with my new pink collar and my hair bows. Love, Lexie
