Meet little Gumdrop – a pretty female golden who is estimated to be about 9 months old. Gumdrop wandered up to a house in the country and made herself at home on their porch. The house belonged to a wonderful couple who took care of her while they looked for her owners. They finally called us to help and now Gumdrop has a very special family to call her own. With a stay at home mom, 3 young girls to help raise, and a fenced in yard to play in, Gumdrop couldn’t be happier golden. Mom and dad were determined to find their perfect puppy but we were concerned that a young dog may be too much to handle for a family with 3 young children. But now it’s clear that this forever home pairing was destined. One of the daughters is ill, and, as if Gumdrop knew, she immediately took to the little girl. Following her around the house, cuddling, and sleeping at her feet Gumdrop proved to be this child’s guardian angle. We know with continued love and golden kisses Gumdrop will help her little girl recover, and this family will share many wonderful years and memories to come.
