Gus and Zeke are purebred male goldens who have been together all their lives. They lived in Alabama and their owners decided to move to Kentucky one day and left them behind. Cruel and sad? Yes. But we were determined to find them a home where they could know love forever. Gus and Zeke are great by themselves and love greeting you at the door with their favorite stuffed animals. Gus is kinda protective of Zeke and Zeke is just a goofy guy who loves to roll in the grass. We knew we could not separate them and one day their foster mom of 6 months realized she couldn’t separate herself from them either. Each time they met a prospective adopter something was not quite right. Like we felt about Gus and Zeke, some bonds should never be broken. While we’ll miss her as a foster we know this match was meant to be. Here’s to staying together forever!
