When Hampton, the 2 year old purebred male golden, came to us as a stray he had a big head and big paws and could put on a few pounds. He was very sweet and pretty goofy. It quickly became apparent that Hampton had never been on a leash. He sorta freaked and didn’t know what to make of it. But we worked on that and now Hampton has a wonderful new mom and dad, a kid to play with, and even a grandma for that extra affection. Hampton’s new family just moved back from overseas where they had to give their dog up for adoption. They were so sad to say goodbye to their old dog they promised to adopt a new pet once they settled back into the states. It seems to have been a good move for all of them. Hampton is so happy to have a family of his own. He loves to play soccer and take walks. Although he is getting better on a leash Hampton prefers to run free. But don’t worry he won’t be going to far from this home.
