Harrison, a 1.5 year old male golden, is a big handsome boy of 95 pounds and is still growing. His family gave him to the shelter because he grew “too big”. Too bad because they didn’t take the time to measure his heart. We did and we knew he deserved a special family. Adoption Day came and if anything was ever ‘love at first sight’ this is it. A mom and her 2 boys walked right up and sat down with him and started having a conversation. We overheard things like “the bigger, the better” and we’ve been waiting for a dog just like you. We watched as Harrison started flirting and putting on the charm. He’d do that paw thing when someone dared to stop touching him. Then Mom said, “my boys said they want a big boy dog and they are going to name him Harry. What’s this boy’s name?” It was pretty well a done deal – only one more person to wrap around his paw – pa. Nothing to it. Harry is a big part of the family now and he honestly is as happy as this photo shows.
