Hey Hattie – stop kissing me all time. I love you too but people don’t pet my face when it is full of your slobber! Meet Hattie and Mattie – a delightful pair who must stay together! They are both part great pyrenees and golden retriever – one of the all time great mixes. Hattie looks more GP and little Mattie looks more golden. They are absolutely adorable and bonded to each other. They are both about 2 years old. These girls were found roaming a very nice neighborhood. The neighbors joined together to provide food and water for the dogs and were desperate for a rescue to take them. The trick was to catch them. One day a lady who had seen the “Found Dogs” was driving to work and a utility worker had Hattie on a leash. She stopped, dumbfounded, and asked him how in the world he was able to “capture” her? He told her he always keeps a loop leash in his truck “just in case”. They were also able to get her sidekick Mattie and the nice lady took the dogs to her home and called us. We later found out that the owner had a personal issue and had left the dogs with a caretaker who did not take care of the dogs. When the owner returned, he found his dogs missing and spent the better part of a month searching for them. AGA returned the dogs to the owner.
