This is Hazelnut, a sweet and beautiful 9 year old Golden girl who came to us through a local shelter. Sadly, Hazel had not had an easy life, she suffered from epileptic seizures, had heartworms, an underactive thyroid and suffered from arthritis. We made a vow to do all that we could to help this poor golden girl. Through the help of her sponsor, the company ‘Your Personal Business Trainer’ in memory of Tucker DiCecco, we were able to begin treatment and through the help of her foster, we were able to show her love. Despite all of her treatments and continuous distribution of medication, true to the golden nature, she never complained and was always very, very sweet. She loved to be brushed and petted. In the end though, we weren’t able to help this sweet girl enough. She suffered two major seizures after her treatments and really never recovered, so we had to help her cross the Rainbow Bridge. We tried our best with Hazelnut and sadly, it wasn’t enough. She is at finally peace.
