Meet Heathcliff, a gorgeous male golden retriever who was abandoned at a vet by another rescue group because he was heartworm positive. We simply have to think they don’t have the kind of volunteers and supporters AGA has but they tried their best to help him. So we went and got him and we found him a great new home. He has been adopted by a wonderful man who gives his dogs the best possible life. Heathcliff has a new sister named Sally that could pass for his twin. His new dad’s entire life accommodates the needs of his dogs – in fact, one little girl called his house “One giant dog house” – in a good way, of course! Heathcliff will be living life in luxury. He’ll have all he could ever want – balls, toys, treats, headrubs and lots of walks – we think he’s trying to give us a hint in this photo! What golden could ask for more. And he asked us to thank his sponsors, Diane and Greg Brown, for helping him get well. They paid for his heartworm treatment and found a great foster that in the end became his forever home! AGA and Heathcliff are both very grateful!
