Heidi, a 1.5 year old purebred female golden,was sweet and active. Her owners were elderly and couldn’t care for her any longer. Heidi wanted a family to play with and didn’t want to be left alone all day long. Well, a family who had been searching for a very long time for a dog just like Heidi met her and it was love at first sight. We just couldn’t figure out who loved who more. Heidi is now DIXIE and has a Mom who will stay at home with her and she has a Dad who will teach her how to swim in their pool and she has her very own kids to raise and take care of. Oh, and she has Bean – her lab big sister. What a wonderful life this very special golden has in front of her. It was worth the wait — for both!
