Huey crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. He was being treated for heartworm and was not strong enough to handle the treatment that was given to him. Huey never got to enjoy a foster home but we know he was happier at the vet than where he was before we saved him. We tried our best Huey. [Huey is a 6-7 year old purebred male golden. He was on death row in Augusta. Huey is on the small side and is very sweet and gentle. He gets along with other dogs and loves people.]
