Hunter is a 5 year old male golden retriever. He lived all his life with his cousin, Ranger, who’s also 5 years old. Hunter and Ranger were brought to us, along with Clyde, by their original owners who were starting to travel and could no longer care for the dogs. Clyde let us know he would be ok on his own but Hunter and Ranger had to be adopted together. So we promised to find the big guys, both are over 110 pounds, a forever home to share- no matter what. Well apparently a higher power had Hunter and Ranger’s interests in mind too because at adoption day, after being in the program less then 24 hours, the pair was adopted into a wonderful family. Hunter and Ranger’s new mom and dad initially came to us looking for puppy. But once they met Hunter and Ranger they started to reevaluate their decision. Why go through all the work of puppy hood, they have four kids already, when there are two great dogs trained and ready for a new home right here? So they decided to make Hunter and Ranger their own. With four kids to play with, a big fenced in yard to chase each other around in, and a mom and dad that plan to spoil them rotten, Hunter and Ranger, are living the life. But the best part of all is that Hunter and Ranger, these two golden princes, get to stay together forever.
