Meet Irving – a wonderful male Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix who is around 3 years old. He found himself at the Animal Shelter and was just hanging out knowing his family would come for him. He is so sweet and the staff just knew that his owners would come! He was so well behaved and good natured. Then the saddest thing happened, his owners were found and contacted, but they didn’t want him back! Well, their loss is someone else’s gain. Irving was rescued by AGA and reported as: “Very, very sweet boy…beautiful and really big…about 90+ pounds. Initially, he rode well in the car but was a little bit scared. However, he became a happy boy in no time because we told him that we were going to find him a wonderful new home – that wouldn’t abandon him! Well, another “golden” dream come true! Mr. Irving has been adopted and he’ll wait in a shelter no more! When he met his new mom he poured on the charm – and it worked. Mom’s main focus was to find a dog that would get along well with her female 7 yr old golden Bella who is the princess of the house. Well, Irving was quite the gentleman and even let Bella have the toys and also gently nudging her to play chase. Now Irving will have a new mom that works from home 4 days a week so he’ll always have someone to lean on. He also has two teenage kids to snuggle with, a new golden sister to play with and a big fenced yard to run and play in. This happy go lucky guy is finally living the life he deserves!
