Izzy (or Isabelle for long) was the Golden who was seen all over the country. Emails came from all over asking us to help this purebred Golden who was sitting in a shelter on death row. She was thought to be a senior but it turned out she was only about 6 years old. Her owner turned her in to a shelter. She had hair mats the size of baseballs and infected eyes and heartworm. Oh yeah, she had thyroid disease too. So five months later and four foster homes, Izzy is totally cured. And, her last foster fell madly in love with her and she them. She is simply devoted to her new mom and dad and just loves being the only dog in the house. She was born to be a princess and now has the life she truly deserves.
