Jack, a 14 month old golden-wheaton terrier mix had his elderly owners move and leave him behind. He was so cute – we convinced ourselves that he just had a shaggy dog costume on over that golden retreiver body. In fact, when his face hair grows out he could be a Disney dog. So, a very nice couple comes to Adoption Day looking for a purebred golden and there was Jack. They never left him and didn’t even look at another dog. They knew he was the one. And Jack knew too. Now it helped that his new dad promised to make him a steak on the grill.
