It didn’t take long to find my new home. I am so lucky! I used to live in another home but they couldn’t help me with my problem. I know I’m 7 and shouldn’t let things like storms bother me at my age but I can’t help it. They are so big and loud I can’t even think of anything except to try and get away. I tried jumping out a window once (which I realize wasn’t very smart) but I wasn’t even thinking straight when I did that. Now I have a new family which is mom and dad and grandpa and my sister golden and a cat. I’ve started taking some medicine to help me get through storms and grandpa will be staying with me during the day when mom and dad are gone. Between him and the new medicine I think I can get through storms a lot better. I’m so relieved to finally have some help plus a new home and family. Maybe, just in case, you could help me wish for NO storms here in Virginia where I now live! Your pal- Jake H
