Jake Sr., a 10 year old male golden, was given up by his owner because “they couldn’t care for him any longer.” Jake is a very sweet, gentle soul. He prefers to sleep hiding his head in a corner, but he is always ready and eager for a walk or a game of tug-of-war. Now Jake has a forever home with lots of comfy corners to rest his head and two brother goldens to play with. Jake’s new family was particularly interested in adopting an older dog. Jake will be the middle child, in between Chevis, a 12 year old golden retriever and Tybee, a 3 years old golden. Chevis has had to have 2 knee surgeries and mom and dad spared no expense getting him back on his paws. So with a big back yard, a ranch style home (no stairs), 2 wonderful parents, and other dogs to pal around with, we know Jake’s senior years with be nothing but golden!
