This is Jasmine, a 6 month old female purebred golden retriever who was given to us by her breeder. Jasmine was having urinary/bladder problems and had been returned to the breeder from the people who purchased her when she was two months old. As soon as we got Jasmine she went to one of our vets for tests. We found she had a pretty severe bacterial infection and she has been on antibiotics since. While staying with her foster family, things got much better. She held her bladder and had no mistakes. She will continue to be re-tested to see if the problem is recurring but we have found a family dedicated to her and to keeping her healthy. Mom and dad are retired and Jasmine thinks that makes them perfect pet owners. They’ll be around to play and cuddle all day. And better yet, they love goldens! Jasmine also has a big Golden sister to romp around with and to teach her all about family life. She’ll spend half the year living in the North Carolina mountains and the other half in the Florida sun. It certainly looks as if Jasmine has a bright future ahead of her.
