In my first family things got too busy with kids and that meant no time for me even though I was just a puppy when I came there. I was pretty lonely but at 12 years old you just learn to accept things and not complain. Then I came to AGA. I went to a foster home and tried out going to adoption day but nothing felt just right. I was sad about leaving my home and I was just getting used to my foster home and I didn’t really want to start all over again. I guess I didn’t much care what happened to me. So I sent my fosters thoughts about just keeping me and they got my messages. Now I have a new mom and dad and a grown up sister and two dogs and even two cats! No one here is too busy to pay attention to me – in fact I think I’m getting just a little spoiled. It feels really good and the thing that feels the best is that I don’t have to worry about what is going to happen to me. My new family says I’ll always have a home right here. I am very grateful- Love, Jessie
