Hi there, I’m Jessie, and while the last few weeks have been really hard, I’m holding onto hope, because I know there’s still love and joy waiting for me. I’m 13 years old, and up until recently, I lived a quiet, happy life with my person. But everything changed when they passed away, and suddenly I found myself alone in a loud, unfamiliar shelter. I didn’t understand what was happening. I was heartbroken, confused, and scared.
But then something wonderful happened. The kind folks at the shelter reached out to AGA, and within 24 hours, I was wrapped in loving arms and taken somewhere safe and warm. Now, I’m in foster care, beginning to heal, and slowly learning that I’m not alone. Everyone I meet says I’m a sweet, gentle soul. I get along well with other dogs, and more than anything, I just want a quiet home where I can feel safe, loved, and part of a family again. I may be a senior girl, but I still have so much love to give, and so many cozy naps and tail wags left to share.
