Hi friends, it’s me, Jessie! I’m a sweet senior girl, and after a tough season, I finally found my happily ever after. When my owner of 13 years passed away, I ended up in a shelter, scared and unsure of what would happen next. AGA stepped in to help me, and during my checkup, they discovered I had severe glaucoma in my left eye that was causing constant pain and vision loss. The kind doctors decided the best thing for me was to remove that eye, and now, I’m pain-free and feeling so much better!
While I healed, a wonderful foster family cared for me and showered me with love until the perfect forever home came along. And guess what? I found it! I now live in Cherry Log with my two amazing moms, a huge fenced yard to play in, and my new best friend, K.C., a 12-year-old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. We’re already inseparable! Best of all, one of my moms is a vet, so I’ll always have the best care right at home. Life has given me a second chance, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’m safe, loved, and finally home.
