My journey has had a few twists and turns, but I finally found my forever family, and I couldn’t be happier! I was adopted a few months ago from the Newnan-Coweta Humane Society, but as much as my sweet senior owner loved me, I was just a little too big and energetic for her to keep up with. She knew I needed a home where I could stay busy, so with a lot of love, she made the tough decision to help me find the perfect fit. That’s when the Thomas family came into my life! They had been missing the love of a dog after losing their pup to cancer, and when we met, it was like it was meant to be. Now, I have two awesome teenage siblings who take me on car rides to school (which I LOVE), a backyard for playing, and lots of long walks to keep me active. Even the cats and I have figured out how to share the space—I think they’re starting to like me! My new mom says I’m a fast learner, and she’s so happy to have me in the family. Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way—my heart is full, and I’m exactly where I’m meant to be! Love, Jewel
