Meet Big Joe, a handsome 2 year old purebred Great Pyrenees. His owner asked us to find him a new home because Joe was being harrassed by some motorcyclists. They would stop at Joe’s property, rev their engines and race along the property knowing that Joe had an electric collar on. Joe would break through and chase them. Joe’s neck is all burned from going through the electric fence. We brought Joe into AGA and found him the perfect foster family. In fact, Joe thought his new family was so perfect he decided to stay! His foster family has now become his forever family. He has 2 teenage brother to keep him in check and 3 canine siblings, Banjo (formerly Mr. Bojangles, Mac and Buddy to romp around with. Banjo, Mac and Buddy are AGA alumni and are very happy to learn that Joe will be staying around. Joe’s rescue story couldn’t have ended any better, now it’s time for his forever story to begin.
