Joey is a gorgeous red male golden whose previous family moved to a rental property that would not allow Joey to come. They took him to a shelter but we got him the next day. Unfortunately during his initial vet examine we discovered that this young pup had a severe case of heartworms. Thanks to a wonderful little boy, Zac Berg, Joey is better now. Zac got some big people to help him sponsor Joey and pay $500 for his heartworm treatment. Joey went into foster care with a terrific family who decided that they just couldn’t let him go. Now Joey will be living the life he was meant to live. He’ll have all the love and care a sweet golden boy could want and all the treats, toys and headrubs he could desire. Joey’s life ia a fairy tale, he was once falsely imprisoned and now is sitting on a throne.
